Welcome to Witheridge Lawn Tennis Club

Witheridge Lawn Tennis Club is a small and friendly, members-run non-profit-making club, with one recently re-surfaced all-weather tarmacadam court and a small wooden clubhouse.  Founded in 1898, the club was relocated in 1968 to its present site.

The Club is situated in an elevated position overlooking the Little Dart valley, from where you can see right across to the southern part of Exmoor.  There is no view more beautiful on a sunny day - totally exhilarating...  Who wouldn't want to be out in the fresh air, playing tennis and enjoying such a fantastic view?

Court availability is managed by an online booking and payment system.

The Club has approximately 35 adult members with approximately 20 juniors being coached during the Spring and Summer half-terms and holidays.  The Club is able to provide coaching with our two part-time LTA qualified coaches. 

We welcome new members of all abilities and aim to provide a friendly atmosphere where players of all standards can get the most out of their game.  We also encourage friendly competitive play by giving every member the chance to compete in our Open Tournaments, which are held throughout the summer months.
